Was in the area and wanted to give this bakery a go. Usual bakery fare available:pies/pastry cabinet, sandwich cabinet, sweets/slices cabinet. I arrived here about 2pm on a Sunday so most of the pies were sold out. I ended up getting the following..-Chicken Dim Sum: I quite liked it, it was like chicken mince with cabbage? wrapped in a pastry type parcel and deep fried. -Vegetarian Pie: It was either that or Steak and Kidney and that wasn’t going to happen. I found myself a bit disappointed. I was hoping for like a roast vege mash(potato, kumara, pumpkin and onion) mix and instead got essentially mixed vegetables in a creamy? sauce. Not my fav..-Chicken Sandwich:Basic, it was okay.-Pizza bun with ham: I liked it.-Chocolate Donut:The chocolate topping was great, the donut was very doughy. A bit of a shame.-Jam Slice:Perfect, definitely the best item I got to try from here.Overall? The service was friendly and prompt. I’d be keen to give some of the other pies a go.
