I got burgers from here once and wasn’t impressed at all. After the first bite I wished I had gone somewhere else. The prices are also very steep for that type of burger.
I came to get a kebab on a Saturday evening, I was very hungry. I usually love kebabs so I was quite excited about trying this spot. The place was dead and there was three staff members on, but the kebab I was served was cold, not even assembled properly and quite frankly just an absolute mess. I took one bite and decided against continuing as I thought Id end up with food poisoning. Very bad experience, I would NOT recommend to my worst enemy.
We love the Kiwi Beef Burger. I think these are some of the best burgers around in terms of size, quality ingredients and friendly staff. Definitely better than most chains!
My friends and I made a large takeaway order that consisted of 4 burgers, 2 kebabs and fries. I ordered the bastard burger, it’s great in size unfortunately the burger is very dry, the beef pattys were dry and the bacon was chewy. Disappointed in this experience, can get great burgers for the same price elsewhere.
I stumbled upon this place after visiting a friend in Meadowbanks, and was really lusting after a decent burger. Fortunately, Charcoal Burger delivered big time.Wholesome, hearty and filling, the burgers here are burger fuel sized but at McDonald’s pricing.Showstopper: Extremely filling.Overall Grade: B+
Very good and very big burgers. First time trying Charcoal Burger, and I was very impressed. Their chips are also very good. I will definitely come again.
The burgers are really good here. They are really well char grilled. My favourites are the kiwi and buffalo, iv had most of them. I haven’t tried the kebabs on rice yet but they look very appetizing as well. The fries and wedges are good too.
