Popped in here quite late after a day at takapuna beach. I was craving some satay skewers! The fries were crispy and not oily! And the chicken was delicious! The guy who owns the restaurant was such a cool dude, an old man who just had so much life in him! After we finished our meal he came over to us and asked us how we found the meal etc. he gave us the history of the restaurant and taught us a lot about traditional Malaysian food! The decor tho lol it was pretty wacky all the walls were covered in random soft materials, like table cloths plastered everywhere. But I guess thats the vibe. Would probably visit again just to talk to the owner lol
