The service was great, the staff were friendly and attentive.Everything came really quickly which was good, and the food was really good. We had a range of food in our group of four and everyone was really happy. I got the creamy mushrooms, but removed the bacon and found that it was missing a bit of flavour (but am pretty sure that wouldn’t be the case with bacon), but everyone else’s food was so good, I won’t let that stop me from going back. It’s a really cute little cafe with a play area for young children too!
Lovely brunch place!I came here during the easter holiday and there was no surcharge, which was good! Their food was amazing. The salmon on the egg benedict was fresh, the hollandaise sauce was subtle yet delicious. The creamy mushroom was super flavorfull. Pairs amazingly with the ciabatta.Reasonable price for the portion that we get.Would definitely come back.
We both had ‘The Caveman’ which was their version of a standard cafe big breakfast. The dishes were presented beautifully but tastewise it was a little bland. The mushrooms were probably the best part of the dish and the chicken being our least favourite.I’d say the food is fairly priced, but the drinks were def overpriced.. $7 for a fairly small pear juice (with quite a lot of ice) is a little OTT. They are a Gold restuarant so we paid $40~ for our meal which was good, but wouldn’t likely return if we had to pay full price.
Popped in for an iced mocha one day and have to say I was quite disappointed. The presentation was cute – came in a mason jar with a big straw but the top was full of foam which seemed unnecessary and the taste was very bitter and I couldn’t taste any chocolate as iced mochas usually contain chocolate and the person I was with ordered a latte and they said it tasted like the coffee beans had been burnt. Latte came out way before and had to wait ages for my iced mocha – to the point where my friend had already finished her latte and I had only been served my iced mocha 10 minutes after she was done. Can only speak regarding the coffees though so maybe will have to come back and give the food a try.
