One of those places which I’m surprised isn’t more popular. Best iskander I know of in Auckland – really generous servings (the small is probably large enough for most people), huge variety of accompaniments and tastes great. The beetroot creme is a really nice touch too. Quick and polite service.
Shortly after moving to the area from the bays, we had a hankering for a kebab on rice. We were not too keen to venture from whence we came so with the help of Google, we discovered this place. The staff now remember us (or act like they do) whenever we go in and provide a fast and friendly experience. We always be sure to get extra mucver highly recommend this place!!
I’m not very adventurous when it comes to Turkish food, but I know a good rice plate. The lamb and chicken are delicious, sauces are fresh tasting and the small portion is about twice what I can eat, so I ask for a takeaway box and have lunch the next day. Not bad considering this is the closest restaurant to our new house and we could walk here when the evenings get warmer 🙂
Been here multiple times. Good sized portions, friendly staff and quick and efficient service! Kebabs are good, same as iskenders. Trying the pizza tonight
Service is friendly, with plenty of water brought to my table.I had the All in One Iskender, which was slightly more than i could eat and good Value at $15. The veges were fresh and the rice fluffy. I have to admit, I’m not absolutely certain what everything was, but it all tasted amazing. I look forward coming back with the rest of the family and trying the coffee.
Love this place!! Veges are super fresh and food tatstes great!!! Ordered a vege pizza, simple toppings but soo fresh and tasty!! Definitely recommend for a healthy meal!!
Great Turkish food with some extra options. My family and I popped in while cycling the Orewa track. They have the usual options, but also had mucver, jalapeos and a nice sour cream sauce one can add to salad and kebabs. They also do pizza. My son had a Hawaiian which was pretty good. The salads were excellent. Friendly staff.
