Loved amongst locals and very busy in the mornings. The ingredients are high quality and the location handy. Perhaps it is a bit overrated for what it gives and also expensive.

Egg Benedict on smoked salmon and coffee is incredibly delicious and looking out beach from seat is special. This place gets really busy but food is always top notch quality and I enjoyed it

Went here with my partner yesterday after going Round the Bays. The cafe itself is quite big with a good sized inside area and a large outside area. Plenty of seating without being cramped. The service was as expected from Hip Group, good and friendly. Waiters brought us water and menus straight away, coming back in a couple minutes to take our order. We didnt have any drinks but we did order lunch. I had the scampi omelette which was so delicious, seasoned well and the scampi was cooked perfectly! My partner had the Agria Potato Galette. It was nice but the potato itself was very bland even when added seasoning too.Would definitely come back just based on the food alone though my partner would probably try something different.

Another go to brunch spot for myself in Auckland. With a great view looking out into the harbour, and if you go on a sunny weekend the cars that drive by are always a noteworthy treat with the wealthier Aucklanders residing close by .The food is always excellent here, being another one of ‘hipgroups’ finest. The burger (picture below) and the market fish are a must from me, however, my only quarell would be the decor and condition of the place. It definitely needs a freshen up, the inside looks a little worn and in need of a bit of TLC. The coffee is also good here with friendly staff and a buzzy atmosphere. They are always willing to cater for all dietary requirements. My partner is wheat intolerant and the staff are always very caring and the menu caters well for this.Definitely a must for brunch or lunch when out around the bays.

Good place to stop by after a stroll on tamaki drive. We had breakfast last week on this place, presentation of the dishes were nice. Serving size was on spot, enough to make you feel satisfied until lunch time, which is a good thing if you are gonna walk around by the beach afterwards.A little pricier than other restaurants but obviously you pay a premium for having a meal with a view to kohi beach.Staff were friendly and not much waiting around once you have placed your order. Will come back 🙂
