As soon as I entered Kind Eatery I knew it was my kind of cafe- a bit open space with hanging plants and flowers everywhere and gorgeous touches to the decor. I ordered the avocado dish, which turned out to a unique combination of chilli peanut butter on dense, midnight baker toast with a side of avocado. PB and avocado are two of my favourite things but I never would have thought to put them together on one dish. Surprisingly, the combination kind of worked. The flavours were balanced out by the refreshing addition of surrounding heirloom tomatoes and spice of the dukkah, and I was glad I added halloumi on the side to give the whole dish a little extra kick. 7.5/10In the end I got food envy of my friend who ordered the Whipped goats cheese dish. On five grain toast was beetroot done three ways, a poached egg, coconut, hazelnut and goats cheese. I had a little taste of hers and it was delicious- Im sorry peanut butter and avocado but beetroot and goats cheese go together like soul mates and the pair of you will never quite reach the same level. 9/10The coffee is nothing to write home about but will do the trick if you need a caffeine boost.Overall a great cafe for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike- lovely ambiance, impeccable presentation of dishes and tasty food.
Came into Kind for brunch with some friends and I ordered the Avocado without the peanut butter and so did my friend, our other friend got the pancakes. I enjoyed my meal as I liked the bread that was used because it was quite grainy which I like and there was half an avocado which I was impressed with because avocados are tricky to get at this time of year and it was actually ripe. The only thing I wasn’t a fan off was the tomatoes because they were soggy and didn’t seem fresh but I still really enjoyed the meal overall. For drinks my friend & I got the tropical juice and our other friend ordered an iced mocha with coconut milk. I really enjoyed the juice as it was almost like a smoothie and had chunks which I really liked. The service was really quick and our drinks and meals were out straight after each other. Definitely a new favourite and am going to be back very soon.
This place is so pretty! Their coffee machine is super cool as well. The food was not as good though. I had the smashed pea and my sourdough was so sour that it tasted like its been dipped in white vinegar. The pancakes were average and a little bit dry. We also tried the chocolate peanut butter slice from the cabinet, and it was so heavy like one bite can last me two days. But the food and the cafe was too instagramable so it makes the situation OK-er somehow. Probably wont come back..Food 6/10 Service 7/10 Ambience 9/10
There was a good variety of food in the menu. It was really diffucult to order because everything sounds good. Their cabinet food also looks very pretty. Would definitely come back and try other food from the menu.
Went in here for a quick meal and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. My girlfriend and I are both gluten free , so we were impressed with the range of options available to us.
Ive been wanting to try this place since my vegetarian sister totally raved about this the moment it opened. First off, lovely atmosphere. Its just so open, airy and the plants all over the place are awesome. It was a challenge to choose from the menu because they all looked really interesting and appetising. Although the staff kind of forgot about us, the food came quickly and was well presented when we finally got the chance to order.I would definitely come back and try more food as the cabinet food looked pretty good as well. sweetsandbrains.com
Was driving around the area and found this hidden gem! So happy to have decided to walk in and order some food. Kind Eatery emphasises on plant-based food, which makes the whole experience even better! The menu was full of mouth-watering options and after much contemplation I ordered the co-yo two ways – it was so tasty! Would recommend. It had a perfect blend of mango and feijoa yogurt to set the base flavour. Complemented with fresh fruit and coconut flakes, each bite was a mouthful of summer! The serving size was generous and the price was reasonable. The eatery was decorated with a garden theme, highlighting the plant-based nature of the food they offer. It gives off a relaxing vibe that could easily make me stay and chat for hours. The aesthetics of the place, as well as the food makes you bound to make this a regular coffee spot. This place is one of a Kind – I would love to be back to try the other foods they have to offer! Food: 10/10Ambience: 10/10Service: 9.5/10
