Best Chinese takeaway in town. The chicken chow-min is delicious and healthy. Staff is very friendly and caring. Very sweet lady behind the counter.
Best takeaway shop in town. The chicken fried rice with spice is tasty! Food is always great and at a great price (especially for a student)
One Friday night… Tried this place for Chinese noodles, staff was really good. Really made hot and chilly flavours in both chicken and vegetarian version. But I expect more next time if I try the same place again.
Ive never written a review on this site (and doubt I ever will again) but Lucky Takeaway is really just something else! I was fortunate enough to live a short walk down the road for the last 2 years and so managed to visit on quite a few occasions. Betty is behind the counter and she is an absolutely amazing lady! Nicest owner I have ever come across and will miss her and our chats incredibly this year. The chips are fantastically delicious and the prices are outstandingly fair. Service is quick and shop accommodating. Make sure you get in quick before more people find out about her and queues will trail down the road!
Very cheap takeaway. I ordered special chicken and vegetables black bean sauce on rice for takeaway. Was only $9.50. The taste and quantity was very good and quality of food ok. Best you can get for that price. Staff was lovely and did not have to wait for too long. But there is no seating here, just 2 chairs for waiting.
Quick and fast, which is great, except that the food is always cooked in old oil. The lady is always super friendly, and the fried rice tasty
Lucky Takeaway has become somewhat my local quick eat since I started finishing work at 9. Whenever I need a quick meal, Betty is behind the counter ready to help me out. The quarter pack is my go to which gives two sausages, two pieces of fish and more than enough chips for $7.90. For cheap takeaways, this is as good as it gets.
