The food was good, the main reason we wanted to try this restaurant was because of it’s unique menu, but most of the things we wanted to order wasn’t available. Also the food portion is not worth the price, staff was nice but a bit too attentive, as we were approached so many times to start ordering something for mains when we weren’t ready.
I have been eating curry for a long time and Tiffin has the best curry in Auckland by a mile. So so delicious. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal out. Plus, its BYO!
I wish I had ANYTHING positive to write about my experience today. The worst Garlic Nan I have ever had, the saddest excuse in the name of raita (why the hell was it sweet!?), tasteless chooza chicken (no salt or seasoning just orange colored bbq). At least the tandoori chicken had proper seasoning. I asked for extra hot and both items were bland. The worst part is still not over. I ordered the paratha. My mistake. Im from Pakistan and paratha is a deep fried soft roti that enhances the flavor of bbq but this was the saddest form of home made roti (flat bread). And at $4.50 each it was such a horrific experience! Please replace the name of this to homemade roti or dont serve this in the name of Paratha for Gods sake! You can fry and sell the Frozen parathas instead for $1 or $2 at least the customers wont feel ripped off and those parathas will still taste better than what you are serving! Thanks for spoiling my weekend! Will never ever return!
