Love the chips here, cheap and easy to order over the phone! Run by a lovely working family with a very hardworking daughter! Will be back, everything is well priced and delicious!
Dont normally write reviews as I tend to find the quality of food I purchase around Mt Eden is of a good standard but on this occasion Im saddened to say white horse has delivered me chips that have been cooked in oil that is beyond old, the chips were very dark and had bugger all potato left in them. The hash brown in the vegetarian burger has no potato at all, and came with only lettuce, egg and tomato which was a bit sad. The spring roll was very bland and Im sorry to say I will not be returning to this outlet for fish & chips. However Im glad they gave me my food in a paper bag and not a plastic one. Cheers
Fast food restaurant means fast service and a dirty kitchen. At the white horse you get one but you are going to miss the other. This place is clean. The menu board is neat , the counter and the waiting place is clean. The food I had an egg burger. It was good . But I have had better burgers for the same price from other fast food Chinese restaurants. I also had the beef rice noodels. It was blend Had to use salt chilli sauce soya sauce to give it a little kick. But if they are from the Canton region the food wouldn’t have a lot of spices etc. I will visit them again
Cheap and Easy, I especially like the Chicken fried rice, sooooooonice. Would definitely, definitelyrecommend to anyone. So 4.5/5 for WHT.

Really good local for some cheap and easy fish and chips. Haven’t had lots of the Chinese dishes but the combination fried rice is always a winner. Never had a problem with Fish freshness and the chips aren’t bad either.
We have got food from here since I was little and I still love it! Tasty food for a good quantity and price. …and they make my favourite crispy lemon chicken! (the best I’ve tasted out of other Chinese takeaways).
