Located on Mt Eden Road, a spacious restaurant. The place itself has two floors and is divided into a bar area and a couple dining rooms. Excellent ambience, the restaurant has an industrial chic with some Asian styled decor. Food were beautifully presented. The combination Japanese, Chinese and Thai techniques was quite remarkable. Also some excellent mixture of spices. The pork belly was well cooked, had the perfect portion of fat and lean meat, matched well with the mustard greens and mayo. The roasted duck was crispy on the skin but tender on the meat with a beautiful sauce. The king crab and scallop were very well flavored as well. All their desserts are yummy too, recommend the jasmine riceball and pumpkin cake.Definitely one of the best Asian fusion restaurants in Auckland. Fine dining place – we had our colleague maternity celebration here.. the place is big, food are really nice and also they had ton of good drinks.. recommended this place for you who want to enjoy the nightWe ordered quite a lot of food but my fave so far – roast duck and pork belly.. they also have fresh kingfish sashimi.. everything is really nice and of course love the hibiki
It was our first visit. It was a Friday night, hubby and I were gonna go for ramen, but we saw this delightful gem across the road, and decided to check it out. Firstly, loved the ambience and decor. Lots of interesting cocktails on the menu – very tempted to try them all. Ive ordered Sakura fall, Ello sailor and Silk Road Punch – Ello sailor was my favourite out of the 3, but all of them looked very pretty. Food was delightful, weve ordered catch fresh tartare, pork and scallop gyoza, wok greens, vegetarian noodles and wood roasted duck. The roasted duck was our favourite dish of the night.
Asian fusion restaurant at Mt eden rd. Deco pretty cool. Foods are creative and pretty presentation. Staffs was nice. But there’s too much flies when we eat. This was the only thing i don’t like about here, others were pretty good.
