We went for dinner last night with our family friends. The restaurant took us by surprise, all the food were very fresh and tasty, beautiful presentation. My favorite dish is steamed blue cot and my son loves his stir fried round beans. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. We definitely going back there again and already made plan with our friends for the next visit. If you are looking for an affordable price and a good quality fresh Chinese food, we highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks Wongda restaurant for a wonderful dinner last night.

We made a reservation for 10, and were considerately arranged to be seated in a private room. We ordered 10 dishes. The prices here are amongst the cheapest, yet the quality and portions are by no means cheapexceptional quality and filling portions! It took awhile for the dishes to arrive, but we were completely satisfied when the first dish arrived, which was the Charcoal Fish (). Its basically a whole fish in a big metal tray in chilli oil; perfect for a cold windy night like today. Next was the Mongolian Lamb Chops; the plate was literally empty within 2 minutes flat. Tender and almost boneless, the subtly smokiness and slight crispness of the outer won everyone over.Next was the Big Plate Chicken (), which everyone was raving about once again. Tender chicken with the chewy flat noodlesbeautiful. Couldnt remember what came out next but everything was cooked faultlessly. And thats coming from an extremely picky Chinese family whos been to Chinese restaurants all around Auckland . Amongst the others we got Dry Pot Intestines (), Honey Garlic Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Sweet and Sour Whole Fish (), Fried Squid with Salty Yolk (), Cashew Chicken, Eggplant and Beans. They gave us a complementary Fruit Platter free of charge, as some Chinese restaurants do if you have a big group and order lots of dishes. Service was also really friendly, we got to meet the Chef himself who is very outgoing! Other than the cutlery and plates/bowls being self serviced, the experience here was good! The bill came to $210. Price: 10/10Food: 10/10Ambience: 9/10Service: 10/10

Food was really tasty. Service was good and really nice and clean environment. Good atmosphere and the price is really good around 10 to 12 dollars per meal. The portions are BIG and well worth the money. Would go again.

Came here because I saw a photo from Nutrada Opassathavorn. Decided to give it a try. It’s upstairs near J’s Tea. The restaurant is very spacious and has several private rooms. Place is clean and very new.Highlights: food is very affordable and the portion sizes are extremely big. The deep fried salt and pepper chicken was very generous and crispy. The stir fried Malay pancake was something new and I liked it.Not so highlights: their Peking duck opening special is a bit misleading. There is no price on it and when you ask about it, it’s not actually Peking duck. They seem to use the same ingredients (meat and vegetables) for all the noodle dishes. We got 3 very different noodle dishes and they all had the same ingredients except for the actual noodles. Flavour was a bit bland. The soup buns were nice except the buns were stuck to the steamer. When you lifted them up the pastry would tear and the soup would leak out.The sweet and sour pork tasted nice but the their was hardly any pork.Service was quick, staff friendly. Tea and water regularly topped up.Would definitely come back to try different menu items.
