Luckily I rang to check whether they were open at 5.45 and they said they were about to close (7.30pm is meant to be their closing time). Ordered over the phone and arrived 20 mins later, it took them another 25 mins to prepare the order. They mentioned multiple times that their usual chef isn’t there was maybe this was a warning sign and I should’ve left. My kotthu was as salty as can be and ice cold. I really hope they can raise their standards!
Rang a phone order through and was told 15 minutes for 1 dish which I ordered medium spice. Have had this before and enjoyed it. Got to Dils and was told it would be another 15 minute after telling them I had made phone order. Another 25 minutes and I got the order which was not medium spice and very disappointing
Cheap eats in suburb !!!!! Bought a voucher from groupon last time, it was really yummy ! Me and my partner love their nasi goreng (fried rice) it’s simply unique, tastes so different from other shops. Recommend to all!
Excellent lil neighbor restaurant !!!!! I went passed the other day and decided to give it a go. It was superb. I love the food so much. And its very affordable !!! My partner had the chicken biryani and I had some roti they are fantastic strongly recommend to all!!!
Great takeaways, the food is really good! The only problem is sometimes they aren’t open during their opening listed times. It’s happened to me twice now.
Had a lump rice from the other day, and omg wasn’t it the best, it was really good, I would definitely encourage people to go to this little gem of a place, it’s not like you can find any other decent Sri Lankan restaurants in Auckland anyway.
Tried this place out after seeing it on groupon. It’s not your fancy restaurant but it is a little gem of a family business serving honest good quality food. Service was excellent the lad that served me was very friendly. Definitely give the place a visit if you’re in the area. You got another happy customer
