I have purchased Fish and Chips here several times before within the last year and thought that it was lovely, never dissapointed and have recommended it to my local friends. On Saturday I made a phone order and purchased Fish and Chips from here and asked for a scoop of chips. When I got home, it was more like half a scoop given compared to before. And if I had taken it back it would’ve looked like we already eaten half of it. It was not even enough for two people. We got even more of a shock when the Fish and Chips were loaded with salt and we have not even touched it yet – you could easily see it covered. Had to wipe all the excess salt and it was still salty. Yes I could’ve asked for none but you should expect not this much salt should be given even if we just ordered it like the usual. The fish was small and very thin too compared to before and other takeaways. We had to throw it out as the salt was over powering the small thin pieces of fish and the chips. It was like ordering ‘salt’ for your fish and chips. I am wondering what made them think a person could eat something that was over loaded with salt! This place is now not reccomended for Fish and Chips and has totaly put me off. The portions were a dissapointment or if you do try it out, ask for no salt at all or just a little bit. But the amount I was given was a waste of money.
