Great find! Recommended: Creamy mushrooms, bubble waffle (might not be on menu anymore?)Ambiance:Came here for a late brunch with my mum. The cafe was quiet, but nicely decorated and spacious so we opted to sit outside. They even have a little bowl of water for the doggos which is great!Service:Staff were very efficient and attentive – service was fast and friendly but we didn’t feel rushed to order or finish our food.Food: We ordered the bubble waffle w/ fresh fruit and the balsamic creamy mushrooms (as pictured). Both dishes were amazing! The bubble waffle was crunchy on the outside and soft/chewy on the inside (as it should be) and was accompanied with a variety of fresh fruit and even some little meringues. The syrup came in a little pot on the side which is also a bonus!The creamy mushrooms came very generously with two poached eggs and a lot of sauce – I’m a firm believer that any creamy mushroom dish needs to come with the creamy sauce so you can mop it up with the bread, and Carlton Gore Cafe did just that :DPrice: Fairly reasonable and typical cafe prices. I’d say you get a lot more food than expected for the price.Overall: Will definitely be back for brunch again! Excited to try some new stuff and also drinks next time 🙂
