Went there today for Lunch. Tried Chicken Burger which was a bit pricey as compared to other kebab shops I have been to.Surprisngly, the burger was not that bad. Although the place was not that clean and the staff working there was not using any gloves etc…will not mind going back there again if they improve the sitting area clealiness and follow better hygiene standards. The burger was not bad to be honest. I think they are a bit understaffed.
This place is run by a serious looking Husband n Wife.If u like Mediterranean food at reasonable cost, then this could b a simple place to pay a visit.I’ve ordered takeaway food n dined too.Fish n chips were good, lacked a lil seasoning though. The lamb on rice, small portion was quite filling. Overall value for money.A very small place but still is frequented by many. They could bring some zing to the place n more flavorful food! noorinfoodistan.wordpress.com
Stopped in at Eden Kebab for a quick dinner before going to the movies across the street. The feeling that we hot was that we an inconvenience to serve and really the food was bland. The restaurant was less than appealing and the staff that served us seemed at best to grunt . Wont be going back
Came in for lunch. Difficult to communicate and Tables were uncleared and covered in food droppings. Felt grubby. Food was ok but there are other Kebab Shops I will be going to in future.
Had to change and improve this review as i had lunch here the other day. A new couple running it good service and big improvement with the food. Can’t wait to try the homemade dahl if they still make it.
I went here shortly after New Year’s as I was hungry in Newmarket and most of the shops weren’t open. This one was, though. Everything on the menu was around $10-$20, which usually isn’t the ideal price range for a snack for me, but it’s Newmarket and it’s on a day a lot of shops are still closed, so I guess not too bad. I decided to go with a chicken burger and was asked whether I’d like to take away or dine in, but I opted for dine in. I really like how they cut the bun in half. I’m terrible with eating burgers as the filling always just squishes out at the end of the burger and I have trouble holding huge burgers and it just turns disastrous in general, so the halves thing is great. It’s also good for sharing, if you feel so inclined. Inside was a thick grilled chicken patty and I have no complaints there. Very meaty and delicious. One half of the burger was a spicy sauce, which I wasn’t a fan of as much, but the other half was this mayonnaise that was really good with the burger filling. The salad seemed really fresh (I notice these things) which impressed me too. Still, probably the most expensive burger I’ve had in a while and not so sure I’d go again. I saw that the chicken kebab had the same filling in a wrap which is kept in a foil packet which is great for keeping it warm/fresh. Nothing really special about the burger or the restaurant (there’s lots of upcoming concert posters and Indian music but otherwise not much decor-wise) but it’s not too bad either. knotjustastomach.tumblr.com
