It was a cold rainy day, as soon as we walked in we were seated by the staff and soon after bought a hot pot of tea. Our food arrived very fast compared to how busy it was. The portion sizes were huge. Totally worth it 😉
First time trying Hansen and wow how has it taken me this long to try it out. Their portions are huge and the quality of food is not bad!Prawn stir fry on rice 10/10The prawn was cooked perfectly, flavourful and tender. I loved how they covered the prawns with pepper and onion sauce. It reminds me of Pepper Lunch from Sydney. An amazing comfort dish, definitely come back during cold seasons for this again.Seafood rice noodles 6/10This dish wasnt as good. The broth was average with not too much flavour, quite monotone. The fish balls were bland but the fish cake were flavourful.
Good food. Large portions. Service was fast especially on that Friday night that I made my visit here. Not disappointed but not that pleasantly surprised or impressed. I would recommend if youre just keen to grab dinner.
I love here, it’s the best pho i can bought in newmarket. I always order the raw beef pho, it’s really delicious service is quite friendly and polite.
Came here for a quick bite before a movie. We got the Raw and Cooked Beef Thin Egg Noodles, and the same but with Rice Noodles; along with Pork spring rice roll and beef skewer.- Raw and Cooked Beef Egg Noodles (6/10) flavoursome soup! Loved it! The egg noodles tasted like instant noodles though and was still in that clump shape, and was a bit hard. The beef itself was nice. – Raw and Cooked Beef Rice Noodles (6/10) similar, but I can also tell the noodles are store-bought. I would appreciate some more homemade noodles. – Rice rolls were a bit dry, think we would have preferred the prawn one. Skewers were good though, flavoursome from the satay. However for the price you pay its decent for a quick dinner. The floor is a bit slippery at times and I almost slipped twice. Food: 7/10Price: 9/10Ambience: 8/10Service: –
The flavors vary from great to very average. Service is usually good, prompt and efficient. Seating is relatively comfortable. The taste of the food is more consistent at the Mt Wellibgton branch.
We ordered the Beef with black pepper sauce on rice (B19) and pork spare ribs with rice noodles (P08) to share.Size of the P08 noodle and soup in the New Market branch seems to be a bit smaller than the Panmure or city branch.I enjoyed B19, has the yummy peppery taste that I wanted with pretty good portions of beef, with pickled vegetables on the side to add a sour flavour. But when I bit into the rice that had less sauce on it the rice was hard, almost as if it hasnt been cooked enough. I told the manager and they took the dish back to the kitchen and got the rice replaced to a new one that tasted like it was freshly made.
