Been here a few times with different people, always the same delicious ramen soup! Ive tried their don and curry, pretty standard, but otherwise good portion sizes and reasonably priced. I like the decor and seating for a ramen noodle restaurant.
Me and my friends decided to try this place tonight for dinner. Went in around peak dinner time and opted to sit outdoors as there was 6 of us (inside looked a bit small for larger groups) I ordered their popular Ichiban chasu ramen (medium spicy) and it was served quite quickly. The flavour of the soup was rich and the chasu here was a decent amount! Overall really enjoyed the ramen and would want to come back another time to try other dishes! Only thing that could be improved is for the waitress to provide us all with tissues/napkins, but thats no big issue considering we were sitting outside)
I’m editing my review since I came here the second time. I ordered the same menu as the first time but the curry became small, and it was forgotten. (Attached photo. This is BEFORE eat) The staffs weren’t friendly. Overall, still a good option for the cheap lunch however, we have massivchoice in Newmarket area, I will pick other place with friendly service.I visited at a busy lunchtime. Their lunch specials are valuable. Only $12 for massive ramen with curry rice. I was super full. Ramen was great. I love it. Especially their chashu pork slice was thick and tasty. Unfortunately, the rice was hard, and the middle of the rice was uncooked. I’ll be back soon!
The restaurant is small but cosy and adds to the Japanese atmosphere of the restaurant. Everything is very clean and orderly with a bar seats where you can watch the chefs prepare your meal. I had a wonderful dinner here with friends. The ramen had delicious flavoursome broth while side dishes were wonderfully prepared. The portions were large at great prices. This is a hidden gem which you could easily pass by if you dont pay attention. If I ever want good tasting ramen in Newmarket then this is the place to go.
Came here for lunch and had the Buta Don from their $12 Lunch Menu which also cane with a Miso Soup. For $12 it was really nice and I got heaps of meat! The staff there were really nice and made sure we had water etc Will be back to try their Ramen:)
Very nice. Chef always acknowledges u and creates an awesome Ramen.Service is good food is always fresh. great price aswell a family of four can eat for less than $80 and have leftovers!!!
Flavour is quite delicious, space is nice and cosy and portion is good. My only dislike is the amount of oil in the dishes – perhaps they should be like that but personally my mouth tends to feel drenched in oil after eating. Overall a decent Japanese food that I come back to every now and then.
