I have dined here for lunchtime yum cha many times and it is consistently up to a high standard. The dim sum is really yummy – Im not really ever disappointed with dim sum anyways so yeah.

The food we had was good but I dont think there was much variation circulating the time we were there. It was a Friday lunch so I would have thought here would be more going around so that was a disappointment but definitely a much nicer setting than sun world! If youre fine with paying a few extra bucks then try this place out

We have been to Pearl Garden on numerous occasions for both dine in and takeaway. I suggest a booking if you are dining in as sometimes the place is very busy. When dining in, the service has been consistent and good. The wonton soup is to die for and has homemade wontons in it. We also love the chun chiew chicken and prawn fried rice.

There are two ladies seems like owner. One is really nice and friendly, but another just don’t suit for service industry. She might be a good person but definitely not a good service staff. Food always tasty, environment nice too. Service sometimes 5/5 , sometimes 1/5….

Food, and eating environment are good. Quantity is ok, not too much. Price is a little bit expensive, and flavour is fine. Staff is friendly.

Disgusting service by the folk at Pearl Garden. We had a table booking for the Sunday and when we arrived they said that our booking was incorrect? According to them they called our number yet we didnt receive a call. They didnt provide a solution for us and instead just acted like there was a problem and we could just piss off. Im an advocate for Asian business and its disappointing to see such service from one of the better establishments. Shame on you Pearl Garden! To the lady manager I appreciate you trying to help but get a better system for handling bookings.

Came here on a Saturday lunch – perhaps the busiest time and day! So we queued up for at least 15 minutes to be seated. Then the wait continued. Food took so long to come out from the kitchen. Dining area was squished and packed with diners, and there was limited working space for trolleys to go through. Since we were seated at the open area farthest from kitchen, only the leftovers reached us. :-(Food trolleys containing fresh dishes were also used for collecting used yumcha dishes (very unhygienic). The only consolation was that food tasted great.Would still prefer the yumcha place in Mt. Wellington for overall dining experience.
