One of the restaurants lining the grassy area on the intersection of Khyber Pass and Broadway. This place has been here for a while.CAme for lunch and was able to get a table. They had an indoor or outdoor dining option even though it was a bit drizzly. I always thought it was a Spanish restaurant but apparently, they are Albanian. I had the paella but they had the qebapa, an Albanian sausage. Food was quite nice, tasty and flavoursome. The paella came in a cast iron pan so it was sizzling away when it arrived. They do have quite a selection of different foods as well. The wall had a tapas board with the different ones that they have.The service was friendly and the food was good so a really nice place for dining in New Market.
Found this little cosy and romantic place by coincidence but so happy I did. The overall experience deserves a 4 but the service was so good that I would give an extra star only for that reason. Food was in small portion but still enough to make you full. I ordered the patatas bravas, chicken wings, chips, qebapa and 2 big desert. Everything was yummy and delivered fast. Highly recommend and will be back.
First time at Safran, and Im not sure why we havent been here before! Excellent service, delicious food & great environment with inside & outside seating.We had the sirloin steak which was perfection, and the pork belly which was delicious. Pear tart tartan & chocolate cannelloni were also very good
