Ambience was very nice. Food was average but overpriced. Very limited car park. Picture shown below is half a roti. The whole dish is one roti for $5, which is very very overpriced and at other places it is available for only $2
I got take away from this restaurant yesterday, I ordered some Malaysian dishes but they were not actually Malaysian at all. All oily and especially beef rendang was too chewy and hard to eat.I felt it was all overpriced for the quality of food
Recommended! a new restaurant in Newmarket, we had the fresh pepper fish with steamed rice and it was great. The price was slightly higher compared to other similar places but we think it was worth it.
Brand new restaurant with beautiful fit-out in the city of NMK. Very decent SiChuan and Malaysian flavour. The owner is very nice and service is great. Worth recommending to everyone!
I decided I wanted to have something warm after an exam on a rainy day. My dad, brother and I arrived to this restaurant. Both my dad and brother ordered the dandan noodles and the chicken fried rice and I ordered the Chongqing noodles. There was only one server running the front who was working extremely hard (respect to him!) Our food took 45 minutes to arrive and we noticed that the kitchen was slow in getting food out. We suspect that there were only 2 chefs working in the kitchen. The noodles were okay, nothing really special stood out but there was a nice spice to it! The fried rice was average as well, however, I found the chicken to be under seasoned.
A nice little hidden gem. Firstly I would say this restaurant is more towards the Chinese style of food. I didn’t take a photo of everything I ordered but I had the thick ribbon noodles(not what its actually called) but the taste was very full and flavoursome. I also got the candied potato which was super sticky but it lives up to its name and is very interesting because its like candied peanuts. Forgot what my friend ordered but it was a spicy soup noodle dish and that was also full of delicious flavour. I really love the service this place brings, I felt super welcome with the beautiful ambience and the fact that I am a vegetarian they accommodated to my requirements. Will be back again 🙂
Food taste is okay, dish size is quite small imo, we had a dinner with 6 people, had a spicy fish only, no other seafood, the total bill comes to close to $400, where we were expecting around $250. Overall I would say average and bit expensive.
