Ordered a mixed kebab, tasted great compared to other kebab places I visited. Wide range of vegetarian menu and burgers. Service was friendly. Definitely go back again
Alright alright alright. So you’re drunk or hungover and your around symonds street and you’re hungry so you think yeah I could do a burger. But then you realise you dont want to go to burger geeks and have to figure out their menu. So then you think what else is there?. Well theres ramen. But it’s kind of a to do. What about Chinese? Yeah it’s too hard I got a sit down, drink tea be pleasant try and read hieroglyphics to understand what I ordered. Wait chicken kebab! Do you want salad? yes I want salad. Sauce? Whatever bro just give me the kebab. Delicious.
The owner of this restaurant insists on using below minimum wage UberEats Drivers. I am a courier who works for a reputable employer (NZ Post) who have taken over Menulog deliveries. Betsia has a policy of serving all Ubereats couriers 1st. Theyel will keep me waiting and serve all Uber Eats couriers before me. This makes our new service look tardy. Please look at the Shame on you UberEats in London. Avoid UberEats because they do not pay minimum wages
Betsia will always liven up this forgotten part of Symonds street now britomart bound buses are now re-routed to cross grafton bridge now. As i know that our middle eastern pals are good at cooking a storm with our N.Z lambs i just couldn’t resist the lamb again which was the lamb curry and just nice and tender as always, oh and the garlic chippies are nice too.Just like next door neighbor Ruang Thong they have another branch just down the road, unsure why 2 branches so close to each other.
Me and the flatmates had a pretty long day on Sunday and what started to be journey to roast (which ended up closed) quicklt turned to late night dinner here. This place is more of a regualr spot for me and a few mates. THE FOODCajin Chicken on rice (4/5) – I loved this dishes and the ratio of rice to veges (perfect). But it didn’t taste much like Cajin Sovlvaki on rice (4/5) – I not sure if its me but if I done a blind taste test between this and the cajin chicken Falafel (4/5) – Loved it, good crunch outside and soft inside, and on $2Chips (3/5) – Good but not amazingButter Chicken on rice (5/5) I love this butter chicken more than most others. Just know though different people have different taste for butter chicken. This ome is a hidden jem, chicken cooked perfectly and sauce goes amazing with the rice. Also with leftover sauce I like using it with migorine noodles. Kebabs in general (4.5/5) – Considering what it is and its fastfood thier ingredients are consistently fresh and the ratio seems to be just right. THE ENVIRONMENT (3/5)This is more a fastfood type of place to dine, i dont eat in much more takeaway. THE SERVICE (5/5)The staff have always been consistently friendly EVERY time. I felt sorry for though on Sunday night because there was only ome guy to abouy 12 people. Big ups to him for his hard work thay night.
Really good takeaway, massive burgers. I’ve been sick after having a falafel kebab but I’ll still go back for the Camembert burger. A good thing is they have a large selection of vegetarian dishes
We came here for burger takeaways as it was the only lunch place that was open on Auckland Anniversary day.The menu selection was extensive, we were also impressed that there were quite a lot of vegetarian options.Service was fast and very friendly. The burgers were wrapped really well, was also surprised at how big they were. They tasted great, my sister really much enjoyed her blue cheese burger. I was also happy with my vege burger which had plenty of betroot, avocado, and cheese.Overall, definitely decent food for affordable price. Would not mind returning to try their kebabs and other items.
