Fresh and tasty, not the biggest portions though. However well priced and quiet location, we would visit again if in the area, the couple that owns the restaurant also seems very sweet. It’s a shame it’s not busier.

Yeah, there’s a reason why this place is always empty. $12.5 for a few bits of tough beef in salty, cloudy brine and a few mungbeans, despite having asked for extra.

Lovely fresh food, I had lemon grass chicken and there was plenty of it.The bowl could have done with a bit more flavour added with a bit more dressing and chilli. There wasn’t any sauce out on any tables to add some power.Would go back and ask for a side of chilli.

Brilliant pork roll. the crisp, fresh toasted baguette and sensational Vietnamese flavor combo captured me – will be a regular from now on. Do you do takeaways delivered for catering purposes – a taste sensation to break the monotony of corporate meeting fare

The Pho is a bit of a joke to be honest. Sure, the Bahn Mi is good, it’s kind of hard to screw up a semi-toasted baguette with pate and chicken. It should be all about the stock but it was just tasteless. If I had turned on the hot tap, waited for it to warm up briefly, added half a vege stock cube and mixed it, it would be close to the flavour of this soup. Lukewarm broth is rank and reminded me of bath water. Some casual sliced carrot and courgette in there and a few frozen prawns that had been reheated to the same lukewarm temperature as the stock. I just think that they shouldn’t sell this. It was $15 dollars! Ridiculous. If I had eaten a 50c packet of Mee Goreng I would have had a better lunch. It’s not that it tastes bad, just that it doesn’t taste. No love in this soup.I guess I had to pay to learn how bad it was. Don’t order the Prawn Noodle Soup!

My Partner and I had recently visited Vietnam and found it hard to fly back to little ol’ New Zealand, especially after sampling all the amazing food that the country has to offer. We’d seen this place a couple of times whilst visiting all the vintage stores on K-road and thought we must check it out. What can I say, This place was a great place to cure our craving for Pho b ti and Bnh m Si Gn.The place doesnt look like they often get alot of people dinning in, but we took the risk since the dishes we were ordering weren’t too bad.Customer service was nice, but the young teller was reading his book the whole time so it was hard to ask to assistance. The male that brought our food was kind and went to fix the Fish sauce bottle in a promptly manner.Food tasted wonderful, restaurant was nice some ambient music may have lifted the mood abit. otherwise its fine. ###Heads up, this place does not take credit card and they are a self service restaurant###
