Visited this restaurant few times coz location is pretty convenient. Price is very reasonable compare with most Chinese food on queen st and still fills me. A big plate of fried rice only cost $9.5. And definitely try their spring roll, taste amazing~

Visited Sajiao for dinner last night. New place so the looked well maintained, impressive interiors and service was with a smile, so good start. The menu seemed heavily Sichuan based. We ordered the sliced potato salad, braised pork slices, Dan Dan noodles and one more soupy noodle preparation. My first time with a Chinese potato salad, liked it; very light and flavorful. The Dan Dan noodles were good, not the best one I’ve had though (sauce seemed more creamy than watery). The second noodle preparation seemed quite close to Dan Dan in flavor, not as spicy as expected (it had 2 chillies as indicator). They have an offer wherein you can add a drink for a $1 extra with the mains. Try the Chinese tea in a red can, I liked it. Braised pork (cold dish) was very impressive, recommendable. Mains portions were massive so order accordingly. Will visit again for sure, esp for the pork. The staff was friendly as well. Total damage: $34; well worth the price.

Taste is alright. But caution we all got which is 1x chilli strength and I died. This place truely lives up to its name. I recommend asking for the chilli on the side to add your self.they don’t let you split the check either. We got thedumplings in chilli oil – $8 for 15 little dumplings. Nothing special tbh ~ taste is mainly spiciness with no other dimensions kumara noodles – $9.50 this one is topped with loads of deep fried soya beans and pork mince. The noodles are the clear ones. Noodle in soup $10 Broth taste good. Reminds me of Japanese tonkatsu ramen broth. Noodles are noodles eh maybe I will come here for this one again. dry noodles. $9 I think in china they are meant to set this noodle on fire but I don’t think they did. This is super nutty sesame coated noodle with some dry pickle veges, mince and tastes sugary Nb all drinks are $3 in the cabinet but if things get to spicy head over to shaolin kingfu noodles and get a big coconut sago drink for $4 and it will cool you right down. I’ve got to try their skewers in chilli oil at some point.

went to get the large dumpling in chilli oil today for takeaway, i was shocked when i open the box, the dumplings had no sauce AT ALL, but a tiny scope of chilli paste… this is the worst dumpling im chilli oil i have had so far

It was pretty good. Tasted home made, and cooked perfectly, the noodles had plenty of vegetables which is great. Vegetarian dumplings were nice.

Not worth the money at all, too much onion and spring onion, not much anything else. The taste is way too salty, and every ingredients in the dish are way over cooked. The size is very small.
