Hot chicken donut burger sounded not my cup of a tea but I have decided to give a go. I was wrong it was super tender and juicy chicken with sweet donut bun works brilliantly
We decided to have a little snack here before dinner, as we have been meaning to try them in forever but always seems to think of doing so on a Sunday when they are shut. Got a chicken wing each. It was such a good crispy spicy chicken wing that was still so juicy on the inside. Bonus was the half glazed fluffy donut placed below the wings that reminded me of those donuts we would find in the old school bakeries! Loved that they provided gloves so we could enjoy our wings the finger licking good way! Cant wait to come back to try the burger!
A good combination of sweet and savoury, really brings out the flavours. The only downside is that all flavours are quite strong and oily, so its a bit sickening after the first few bites. Fries with MSG was the same, super good for the first two bites and gets a bit too much towards the end. Definitely worth a try tho.Food 7/10 Service 8/10 Ambience 6/10
A little disappointed in my burger after seeing all the amazing photos on here and hearing good things from other people. Maybe I came at a bad time or something but the donuts were so weird. I mean the food court lighting does no favours but you can see it doesnt look all that crispy like in other peoples pics and I dont think theres any glaze at all unless it all got soaked in somehow. I could barely taste the donuts at all and the only word I can use to describe them is soggy. The donut buns really let the team down, because the chicken inside the burger, and the fries I got in the combo were really good. The sauce on the chicken was great and the fries were fresh and crispy. I also liked that they give you gloves to eat with so you can just go all out when youre eating. I really want to give them another try but just a little let down this time. I would say 3.5 out of 5 overall.
I was quite interested in trying out the doughnut burger to see what it would be like. They have options of beef, chicken (spicy and fried) or vegetarian burger. The beef burger comes with a glazed doughnut while the chicken one doesn’t. They also have other things on the side like salads, MSG chips and hot wings. My friend had a custom made burger since she didn’t eat anything spicy at all.I went with the original burger which had a kimchi fritter inside. Went with a combo to include a side of chips and a drink. The glazing was nice to dip the fries in. The burger itself was also quite interesting, sweet and savoury but not spicy. We were given gloves to eat with it which did save on the napkins as it did get quite messy.A really interesting meal and something worth trying if you are in the area.
Sneaky Snacky, owned and run by the amazing Chef Kang is now permanently located inside the Lim Chour foodcourt on K Road and is THE go to when you no longer care about your New Years resolutions. That being said, everything from the donuts to the sauces are made fresh daily with quality ingredients. The donut wagyu burger was so good we had to mop up every drop of glaze and beef juice from the plate. Nashville chicken burger was incredibly juicy and packed with flavour. MSG fries are piping hot fries flavoured with a spicy BBQ seasoning similar to the one in BBQ Copper Kettles. Absolutely delicious!
Okay this is my third time trying this place and every time i am loving it!! My hot chicken wings are so good, but i recently tried the original burger and the hot chicken burgers and boy are they a treat for cheat meals.This place has the best fried chicken and the best burgers.Go here and treat yo self!!!
