Nice place for having a coffee (which is pretty good) and maybe a breakfeast. I had a chesse bread that definitely wasn’t delicious, but came along with a good butter. Service is very good, which is pretty common in Auckland. The place is cool, and you can enjoy a cuppa outdoors.
from christchurch and found this cafe while walking to this design shop the staff were nice and friendly the coffee was good and my eggs bennie was the best ive had to be honest couldnt fault it to much my girlfrend loved her poached eggs and mushrooms to will be going back next time we in auckland
Love this cafe! The staff are super friendly and the coffee is always great 🙂 I especially love their smoothies and slices. Definitely head a long if you’re in the area, they also have a nice big table which is perfect for work meetings 🙂
If you are going past you must try their peanutbutter and banana Smoothies amazing taste also their breakfast burritos are fantastic staff are always friendly
Even though this cafe is situated close to a busy intersection and is surrounded by local business, Barista skills was not up to par. Perhaps it was the morning, I understand I am not a morning person myself. But a good cup of coffee always does the trick. The service was cold not very warm and friendly, perhaps it was too early in the morning. Regardless if the customer isn’t happy, smile. A smile goes a long way. Makes even the grumpiest person day lovely and wonderful. When I received my food it was cold, it wasn’t heated probably, I had to reheat my food at work (not a good idea). My cappuccino was served in a small cup (no options to choose from), and the Crema was burned, no amount of milk can hide that taste. So off I went to another local cafe, small and quaint, and brought another cappuccino, and my Crema wasn’t burned.
I’ve been going to this Cafe on a regular basis for years, and I have to say the people and the food are excellent.Robert and Kim have worked hard to provide an inviting venue with excellent quality food. It’s one of those places where staff greet you by your name, and remember your likes and dislikes. They’re happy to suggest alternative options it you’re stuck for a choice – and on some occasions even whipping up something special – just for you. Try it – you wont regret your decision.
From the ‘zestful’ staff to the delicious food, this cafe is a must visit. Its a sun box which is ideal to restore your passion for life on any day; you’ll have NO regrets! P.s. the chocolate brownie is to die for.
