Have been passed this place, but never called in, I didn’t know what we were missing! It’s a big airy shop meal details on wall are easily readable The owners were very friendly, what I really liked was that you can get small, medium and large sized meals. We chose the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, and roast chicken, the accompanying vegs were cooked just right, and service was very quick Will definitely be back so once again we can be me and three. Took home some pork scratchings. Oh yum yum yum
Unfortunately prices went up and portions went down on the rolls. Too much bread and not enough filling. Asked for fried chicken and was told that it was dry and not for sale and just for display. To top it off the order was taken without mention of a 10-15 minute wait. Ah well.
Bugger all meat on the large. They weigh every last portion they put on. I ordered the pork and it was dry, flatmate ordered the lamb and it was also dry. All veges apart from the potato were also dry. Worst roast ever. Not worth $17.50.
