New cafe in Onehunga which had some good reviews so thought I would check it out one Sunday arvo for Brunch. I ordered the Big Breakfast which looked appetising on their menu. My wife decided to go with the French Toast. Service was lovely. Decor was simple but the place was clean and openly inviting. We found seats slightly uncomfortable as we like to sit for long periods of time. They appeared to be recycled chairs from a school or church. The big breakfast I felt was a bit of a let down. The sausage was quite small and lacked any flavour. The small roasted potatoes weren’t sufficient to pair with the bacon/eggs and didn’t match with the cherry tomatoes and avocado smash. It was lacking a piece of bread/toast to put it all together & being $21.50 I didn’t feel spending extra to purchase one was worth it. Quite the let down.My wife’s French Toast was slightly better. It was a thick cut slice of bread which had chocolate chips in it. Was not too soggy which was good served with a scoop of ice cream on top along with pan fried bananas. Ended up being too sweet.Along with a cup of hot chocolate having spent well over $40 here we found it not our cup of tea and a real let down.Don’t think we would return again.
Super nice service, we ordered ice coffee but forget to mention decef. Staff made another cup of decef coffee for us, that’s so sweet and nice. Smoothie taste delicious and refresh too. Environment 5/5 service 5/5 price 5/5

Tucked away in the Main Street of Onehunga, you can spot Mr Ts as there are usually a bunch of people sitting outside enjoying a coffee & treat or breakfast.Inside there is seating too, and they seem to have done well getting the balance of the bakery & cafe right.Service was friendly & efficient with water brought to the table. Coffee was well made. The food was well presented & delicious with thought put into the dish to make it unique. Will definitely be back
The positives are the awesome coffee and the handmade bread . The sourdough is good. The banh mi bread is good with lots of fillings and lots of pate… The slight negatives are it took half an hour for us to get our food. And they microwaved our croissant which is kinda of a cardinal sin. . And forgotten our banh mi order which lead to a 3 star.
