Rang up to placed an order in advance for pick up. Grabbed 1 x Mad Max Burger, 1 x Kiwiana Burger, 1 x Kumara Fries & 1 x Cheesy Beef n Gravy Loaded Fries. Was advised it would take 20mins.Collected order & it cost $38.40.The place appeared clean. Not much was happening there otherwise for a Friday night which was weird. Quite on the pricier end of Burger joints.The service was quick & has nothing to fault about it.Food.Mad Max burger was $15.60 & its roughly almost double the size of a Big Mac. This burger was real juicy & the sauce tasted similar to that of the Big Mac Sauce. Best food of the night.Kiwiana which came in at $10.50. Was looking to a similar taste to that of the Kiwiburger but was quite disappointed. The beef pattie was a bit dry & there wasnt enough tomato relish/sauce to save the burger. Quite the let down.Kumara fries. Nothing spectacular to write home about for $4. Was average at best.Loaded Fries. Most disappointing selection. The cheese as per the pictures werent fully melted & t appeared to be just a processed cheese slice cut up into 4 pieces and placed on top of gravy. The gravy tasted ok & the chips also not anything special to write home about. For $8.30 it didnt live up to the price. Wouldnt recommend purchasing this.Service = 5/5Food = 2/5Overall, the quality of the food was a let down. Being quite pricey it didnt live up to its standards. May consider returning again to try another burger or 2 in future but wouldnt make it a habit.
Just had the Chipotle Double burger, one of the best burgers Ive ever had, now I need a lye down, thanks Saltwater we will be back. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.
We ordered takeaways on a friday night. Our order was ready on time for our pick up. The menu has lots of delicious options, it was hard to choose. We decided on the Chicken Cranberry Burger, Pulled Pork Burger, Kumara chips and Kids Burger meal. Everything was really yummy and decent sized portions. We will definitely go back
Tried the blue moon and Chipotle double last night, both were excellent. They take the time to perfect ingredients like caramelised onions and the flavours were balanced and awesome. They do need to get better at predicting wait time as they took significantly longer than I was told on the phone. Personally I wouldn’t mind paying another dollar per burger and getting it in half an hour or less.
Awesome burgers! I always go with the NYCB its massive. Eat the onion rings first otherwise cant get your mouth around it. Brings together the good things from Burger Fuel (good buns, salad, cheese but not Burger Fuels beef patties which are too processed and arent so good) and best part of Burger Wisconsin (great flame grilled beef patties). Their wedges are good too. We drive from Hillsborough to get burgers from here. Suggest preordering to avoid waiting.
Had the kiwi burger and regular fries from here and I loved it! Fresh ingredients and tons of food at a really cheap price. Will definitely pass up the bigger burger chains in favour of this place from now on!Only feedback I would give is that a couple more vege burger options would be awesome as I have a few vegetarian friends who like to have some variety to choose from!
Awesome selection of burgers. Interesting specials too if you follow them on social media. Always quality ingredients too. Can get a bit busy during lunch though so I’d advise phoning ahead.
