What more could I possibly say..It was the worst coffee I have ever had in life and could not have tasted the dirt taste any more than this one. Service is very different towards different races here..

staff is not friendly at all. was waiting on a deck to order coffee and a cake for near 5-10 minutes while waiters will get the cake and prepare the cream… was wondered why she just didn’t get the order and let me go to enjoy sunshine on the deck…. got a ridiculous answer from the waiter – sunshine will not go away from here…meh… and a coffee was so-so.

Below average breakfast – measly portion for the money paid. Poached eggs were hard poached, bacon was bordering on burnt. Coffee was presented in a cup with coffee drops everywhere, no staff checked to see how our meals were going, no water given – would not recommend

Went there at 8am on a Saturday morning and was greeted by friendly staff. The ambience is good and the view was great as we took the table beside the window. We ordered vege Benedict and Solar Grill and a flat white. For the vege benedict, the flavour lacks punch and could do with a bit more of salt and pepper. The amount of rocket served was on the stingy side and it wasn’t enough to balance the hashbrown, which is the big ball of potato. I didn’t particularly like the fact that they use chunks of potato with skin on to mix it with mashed potato to make up their hash brown. A couple of times I had to pull out the potato skin from my mouth. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs was on the sour side and the flavour is not well balanced at all. The eggs are overcooked so the yolks are not runny. The mushroom was alright but the sauce could do with more seasoning. Overall, it was a very disappoint dish for me and I felt cheated that I paid that amount for a dish that I didn’t enjoy at all. My husband’s solar grill has the same items as my dish but he has the additional bacon and sausage to provide the salt to the dish. Would recommend people to order this rather than vege Benedict if you have to be there for breakfast. Overall we paid 47 bucks for this meal and its one of the more disappointing 47 bucks we have spent. However, we would like to highlight again that Tue staff and ambience are nice.

Avoid at all costs!!! My son and I went here for lunch in 14/7/16 and stood at the counter for over 5 minutes while staff walked around us and looked straight at us and eventually directing us to the menus. As there were no nice tables left due to the lady seemingly some sort of waitress letting others sit down and serve them while we were still waiting we sat outside. It wasn’t great weather but wasn’t raining. However I took my son to the toilet and came back to it pouring down on our meal!!!! It had been served in the rain!!!!! No assistance was given to bring out soggy meal and things indoors and after approaching this establishment several times they feel they have some nothing wrong and in an email even said that people like to eat in the rain ?!? Ridiculous!!!! Inhumane way of treating customers never go here!! There are many amazing eateries on Waiheke. This is NOT one of them!!

Nice coffee and speedy service for a Sunday morning. Coffee was served hot and strong. The pastries tasted fresh but were quite bland. A croissant without any filling for $4 is a little dear though, considering that it was probably pre packed from a supermarket
