Can’t say I was super impressed with these guys. Paid through the nose for our meal and got instant rice with the main and Pam’s crackers for the cheeseboard. Expected way more than this for what we paid for it, won’t be going back.
Went to this place for dinner as it was one recommended as a go to place on waiheke. Food was great…everyone loved their meals. Service was average, it started off ok but once we had ordered our mains we were forgotten. No one asked us if we wanted another drink or dessert which was disappointing.
The worst seafood chowder Ever…Wow…such a shame as the location is beautiful. We arrived at 8.30pm and our welcome was…oh you need to hurry up and order or you wont get anything as the kitchen is about to close.So I ordered a seafood chowder..it came out within 2 minutes and was luke warm and was a pureed tasteless soup definately not a chowder. There were tiny pieces of pureed fish at the bottom of the dish ..seafood chowder is my favorite soup and in my whole life I have never had one this bad.My friend had spring rolls and was charged $17 for two over cooked rolls with sauce out of a bottle and was up all night with violent stomach pains and vomiting from food poisoning.I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all.Confirmed my friend has become very I’ll food poisoning… after eating here and so have I…such a terrible experience and end to our lovely weekend in beautiful Waiheke.
