Absolutely fantastic. From the incredible view, the stylish waiheke crafted plates, unique(in the best way) water glasses. Service was attentive, without being overbearing but never waiting. Well versed on the wine list. And the food – an absolute delight with flavours that were just a joy to eat. Will defiantly return. Was also SO glad to be able to find out why they were called three seven two (based at number 12)
This is the next level that Onetangi needed. We went for lunch today and couldnt fault it. Firstly, Id probably recommend booking during the holidays just to be safe but we didnt and still managed to get a great table right at the front over looking the beach! The place was packed but you wouldnt know it from the staffs friendly and welcoming demeanour and the speed and quality of service. From the minute we sat down the service was impeccable! Ice cold local sparkling water and wines served quickly, with a good selection of wines, beers and other drinks to suit!We then had entrees of Sourdough bread and cultured butter (yum!!) and shiitake mushrooms dumplings. The dumplings were definitely a highlight and we were fighting over the last one!For mains we had the lamb shoulder and fish of the day. Both were good portions and very well presented. The combination of flavours of both meals were so well balanced and you knew all the ingredients were super fresh. Unfortunately we didnt have room for dessert but tomorrows another day right?! Oh and lets not forget the side of crispy smoked potatoes! Yes we definitely got a little excited when ordering but glad we did. Everything was perfection.They cater for larger groups, with a very well thought out layout. They have seriously considered everything when developing this places and the faultless service is icing on the cake! This is definitely the standout along the Strand!!
