Food:The sushi was poorly rolled, the pumpkin soup was very light in color and tasted bland (clearly added more cream than pumpkin). In regards to the seafood, both me and my mum had to wait for 2 turns before we could get even one oyster because the other customers piled their plates up with them. Each time the waitress only refilled a small portion of oysters and mussels. People just stood around the cold dish table waiting for their turn. The desserts were basically all mousse in various shapes and sizes. The mousse was very runny and tasted artificial. Summary:I think the staff members were very friendly and attentive to their customer’s needs. However there was poor selection of food and the taste was between bad to average. The photos posted on grabone was also very misleading, there was no fruit or juice or cakes available in the actual buffet. I don’t think the buffet was worth $39 per person (with the use of a grabone voucher), I could’ve gotten better quality food in the cbd at a similar price.

Dined here for my sisters 21st and the food was really good. The buffet was international food. Loved the variety of foods you got to choose from and how filling the dishes were. Would recommend the international buffet it does get really busy so would recommend booking in advance

We had high hopes to celebrate our 100 days here; I had dined here previously about 10 years ago and left me with a very good impression. Disappointing to say, this place was a let down. The waitress forgot what we ordered and had to come back to confirm…and then forgot about one of our mains and so we had to wait another 15 minutes for it. We had to ask twice for her to bring us sharing plates; cant people here use their initiative and observation skills? Lack of professionalism. We ordered from Entrees: Canadian Scallops and braised pork belly; and half dozen oysters. Mains: 500g Savannahs T-Bone; De-Boned Rangiteiki Chicken, and the one she forgot about which is the Duck chefs special. We got from Sides the seasonal winter vegetables.Desserts: Fried Crisp Banana and White Chocolate Cheesecake. Everything was very average and some unusual flavours that tasted slightly off…the oysters didnt look particularly fresh albeit they were pretty big. All the meats and poultry were too tough and hard to cut, bite and chew. Lack of seasoning and flavours. The chicken and duck dish was pretty much the same thing. I have to say, the best dish was probably the Seasonal winter vegetables. They do buffet here too which might offer a better dining experience but for its price of $208 for this disappointing meal and to be of lower quality than elsewhere is ridiculous. Booked for 10 people on Mothers Day for dinner. First thing that hit me when I walked in was the lovely set up a Happy Mothers Day sign rose petals on the table and a complementary glass of Ros. I like that theres lots of room and the actual dining room isnt too big.If you love salmon and oysters and prawns and and did I mention salmon then this is the place for you . My sister had her steak and prawns grilled and brought to the table and it looked perfect. I enjoyed the seafood and the dumplings. If anything their dessert wasn’t bad and it wasn’t the best. But the quality of the food made up for the lack in desserts. Would definitely come again even just for the salmon alone

We had buffet dinner here. I am pescatarian (eat seafood, but no meat) and my husband meat lover, so we both can enjoy dinner here. My husband loves stakes and other roast meats, I had salmon sashimi and prawns, etc…. there are many option even you don’t like meat. Desert was limited, but enough for enjoy with coffee / tea end of meal. This is our wedding anniversary dinner, and we got surprise from restaurant. We didn’t expect they do for us. Floor staff Clarissa was look after us, she made sure we had good & special time since I booked restaurant she remember this is our wedding anniversary. She is good at make customer happy. We are sure we are coming back sometime from North shore. Plenty of car park, relax hotel restaurant, I recommend to everyone. Thank you very much Clarissa!!

Every snack and meal was soo damn delicious. The muffins for snacks just so soft. The options on the lunch buffet was too good. Lastly the dinner was just the right way to end the whole busy day.The best dishes among all of them was the dessert
