Great place to get sushi always fresh and delicious! My kids love this place and rate it as some of the best sushi in town! Handy if you live nearby as we do or work on Great South Rd!!
I ordered a takeaway Tofu Donburi and honestly.. I have never tasted tofu cooked that beautifully in my life. The outside was crispy and sticky, and the inside was soft and creamy. The meal also came with some miso soup and I bought some edamame beans on the side. DE-LI-CIOUS!
Have visited this location a few times & sometimes food has been a bit average, the last few times it’s been good though.Sushi is fresh with a range of options & decent sizes. They also have hot options such as gyoza & spring rolls. Miso is quite strong but ok.
What’s good!?The Sushi is what! Starting at $1.50 a pop with a decent selection to boot – it definitely beats that packed ‘thing’ you brought with you for lunch! Try the ones rolled in the Nanami Togarashi (chilli seasoning) SO good! What’s not as good? Err their Tom yum. It gets a thumbs down from me. It just wasn’t Tom yum!Alongside their menu, they have various prepackaged Sushi boxes, and a smorgasbord selection.
