This is my go to local Thai. They make it Thai hot when you ask for it, and don’t skimp on the tofu. Not sure why the low score, I’ve always had a good experience.
We have been getting takeaways from here for a while and have been really happy but tonight wasn’t great. I’m not sure if they have changed recipe or cook but the pad Thai tasted like it had been cooked in a dirty pan and used thin noodles instead of the typical fat pad Thai noodles and was lacking flavour. Tom Kha soup appeared to have wilted lettuce in it which was odd. Satay skewers were yummy as per usual. Hopefully they were just having a bad night.
Great food and great staff. A range of veggie, meat and seafood dishes available. Great for takeaway and well priced too. Restaurant is small but cozy and staff and chef is attentive. Great to have a local thai restaurant based in oranga!
This place was recommended to us by a colleague so thought we give it a go. We generally find our selves disappointed after a Thai meal. Not this time though! Food was delicious and quite authentic. It tasted like it was actually from Thailand. Can deffinitely recommend the Pad Thai and Lemongrass chicken. Satay chicken was possibly some of the best we’ve tried, tender with just enough sauce. Price was reasonable too. Will be going back again to try a few more from the menu.
Thai Tree Caf is very cute and cosy thai eatery with two table seats inside and two tables outside 🙂 their thai food is yummy and fresh. but their seasoning can be overly peppered, sweet and salty when they just opened but it seems improved now. their paseeyu rice noodle with chicken is my fav and their mixed entre was super delicious! they do $10 lunch special which is best value for money!
