I went there with a friend after seeing a high grade from this site. Disappointedly I found foods and drinks were overpriced with small amounts of servings. I am not sure why this restaurant has a high rate?
Have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and the quality of food and service is consistently excellent. Highly recommended. Pays to book ahead.
Lived on the coast for 6 years and had never been here before until last night! My partner is such an incredible cook and definitely knows his food so choosing somewhere that suits is often hard. The most incredibly delicious food. The decor and friendly staff were the best. Approx $140 for dinner with two appetizers two mains and a bottle of red was a very affordable dinner. We will be back again!!
This Japanese restaurant is great. I like the decor, very friendly service, the food is very good and well presented. It’s hidden away from the main road. Would recommend to any one who likes Japanese food. We will back.
Great, flavoursome, neat and clean portions. Excellent service, especially given we had our 10month old with us. Highly recommend to anyone.
A hidden gem near Orewa beach. This place has friendly, warm and attentive service and a great traditional Japanese interior design. The food is delicious and top quality and I was delighted to find that lots of little side dishes came with my teppanyaki, making it worth the value. The tappanyakis are about $35 depending on what type you get whether it be eel (like what I got) or teriyaki chicken but it’s worth it.
