Easily the best cafe in Orewa. The coffee is much better than the standard Allpress that nearly every other cafe offers. Food is also great, especially the cakes, everything uses good quality ingredients and tastes like homemade. Service is also great, the husband and wife team are friendly to all the customers. Will definitely be back to try out some of the things other people recommended.
We’ve been regular customers to this little cute cafe for over 4 years now and it just gets better and better!Always friendly atmosphere (thanks to the lovely owners who run the place themselves), delicious cakes (our favourites are chocolate mousse and cream puff, but any sweet thing from Little Rascal is awesome — and you won’t find something like this anywhere else in Auckland), great vegetarian croissants, high-quality tea (that comes served in a very cute manner with a sand clock!), interesting salads from the cabinet. And the coffee is undoubtedly the best in Orewa and, actually, it is better than in most other places around NZ.We don’t live in Orewa but come there regularly and never leave without visiting this place for a cup of coffee and a treat 🙂
