Dont go here unless there Kitchen has been given a good deep clean out and another inspection has happened call me a sucker but there pork was just that good I was hoping it wasnt that making me sick… 3 times 3 times Ive come here and Ive gotten sick from the food.. The staff a rude, she cut me off an I hadnt even finished my order, they had a baby in the dam kitchen. Im so mad Ive had to call in sick on my 1st day of my new job because people like this cant follow New Zealands simple health an safety procedures. Im a qualified chef so I no a thing or too about all this.. Im not gonna drop this I will take it further.. DONT EAT HERE. I didnt even bother to check there grading eithedr
Came here on Waitangi Day for lunch because everywhere else was closed in the area and surprisingly it was busy. The service was pretty slack as the waitress looked like she didnt want to take our order and the service varies between different waitresses.Between us we got curry chicken with rice and egg plants & salty fish with rice. The portion sizes were massive, its more like 1 dish for 2 people. Like all the Chinese restaurants, there are a lot of msg, but they do taste pretty good and the chicken was cooked nicely. The eggplants dish though, there were a lot of garlic which wasnt that necessary. The price was reasonable, setting back to $25 altogether with a full stomach.Taste – 7/10Size – 9/10Price – 8/10Service – 6/10
Fast service, yummy comfort food and great location with ample parking. Absolutely love their food, the male staff is very friendly and efficient, the young girl staff at the counter is impatient, curt and seems like she doesnt want to be there in the first place. Their free tea is good, smooth and not bitter like some other Chinese restaurants. Love their crispy skin pork belly and will love to try their Peking Duck next. 5/5 for food4/5 for service (had to dock a star for the girls service)4/5 for ambience (very clean compared to other Chinese restaurants Ive been to)5/5 for menu choicesWill be back again, thats for sure!
This place is a hidden gem that we discovered while my wife and I were struggling to decide where to eat dinner in Botany.Affordable, huge portions and delicious – the things you look for in a Chinese takeaway-type restaurant. This place ticks off all those three!Perhaps the highlight of my experience here was the crispy noodles. It was humongous with generous amount of prawn and chicken meat in it. It was a struggle to eat it, though, as I made a lot of mess with the crispy noodles falling off all over except on my plate. They could probably put the dish in a bigger plate or bowl to prevent this.Staff were also friendly, something that is usually missing in other similar diners.My family will surely come back to try other dishes in their extensive menu.
I live locally and always drive past. Tried it tonight and Im sorry there was a hair in my rice and the Bok Choy had dirt between the leaves. Unfortunately wouldnt recommend this place.
Small but great. Delicious scents waft through the restaurant. Almost always full of Chinese people (a great sign) Duck is superb as is the pork. Language sometimes a problem but just ask for the owner or learn Mandarin.
If youre after good Chinese food and big portions then youre in the right place. Ive checked the previous reviews of this restaurant before making mine. It was a pleasant experience for us and we were happy with our orders. Staff were attentive and smiling. The place itself is clean. What I didnt like was the staff were very loud and we couldnt eat peacefully. Nonetheless, Ill be back to try out more. With regards to the 2017 maggots negative review of this place, I think theyve changed for the better. Keep it up.
