Took my son and my south island daughter today tuesday 28th may …for my 66th birthday…been here before and I raved on about the food to my family…today im disgusted I spent over $80.00…the boil up watercress stringy as …seriously??? looks liike watercress that chinese grow in the backyard…the hangi food the meat was dry (chicken ) and the pork hello a little piece of pork…never again will I go back there and I live local also and will be letting others know…sad about the watercress looks like maori will eat anything with the way they served up stringy watercress

First time going and it was a great experience, interior is nice and has a lot of Moarti art work around with plenty of seating. Staff were very friendly and food was quick to come out. I got the chicken and pork with Kumara , pumpkin eg. Chicken was lovely succulent with plenty of flavour while the pork was a bit to greasy and had a bit too much grissle for my liking. Price was 15$ for the lot which was reasonable for a small business and the portion I got was huge and filled me right up. Would definitely go back and highly recommend to friends. Chur
