A small food stand with not so many options on menu but the quality is on point. Sweet soy chicken is the bomb. It’s a little pricy but service was good and fast. Perfect place to take away your favorite fried chicken for a game night or get together dinner xoxo

FAVE PLACE TO GET CHICKEN!!I tried Yum Yum Chicken by chance about 2yrs ago & has been my number 1 place to get chicken ever since would even rather this than kfc. I was at the Papatoetoe Night Markets & didnt feel like ANYTHING that i could see then i walked past Yum Yum Chicken then walked straight back & thought yep! Im going to try this place. So i oredered & to my suprise it was amazing.The sauce the chicken was coated in was sooooo good. A little spicy but just the right amount of spice for me. If i remember correctly they have 2 or 3 different flavours & i got the mildest one. The batter was crunchy & the chicken was still juicy. The portion was quite big & reasonably priced aswell. Even the next morning my chicken was still crispy when usually it would go soggy when reheated the next day but this was not.I was so sad when they said they wernt going to be at the markets anymore & didnt know that they had decided to open up a spot in a food court in Otahuhu.
My friend and I were deciding between yum char today or this place and we chose Food City just so we could get our mains and the medium honey soy combo with rice to share. I’ve had their chicken twice and I love it and also cute how the guys always supplies you with a plastic glove coz these bad boys are sooooo sticky in a good way lol. Definitely check them out if you’re around the area
