June 2018We have been coming here maybe twice a year for the last 5 or so yrs. This visit for our table of 6 was quite superior. Hard to believe our waiter was in training, he was so attentive, confidant and polished. And the current menu, though only 3 offerings at each course would rival quite a few establishments currently offering fine dining in Auckland. The warm lamb salad for entree, fish or rare steak for main, then tried the range of desserts. Adequate bar range for a training restaurant. Nice set up with lots of room between the tables. Beautiful fresh roses on every table.. Secure parking directly outside, not far from the Highbrook offramp. Reasonable value., This time, we were impressed

There is a fixed menu for apparently a few months so expect only 3-4 items to choose from per meal type (entree, main and dessert) You are being served by waiters/Barmen/chefs that are in training, however this didnt affect the service we received. I paid about $35 in total which I thought was a good reflection of what I received that evening. Good food for a good price.

it’s a training restaurant so dont expect to be absolutely perfect as the waiting staff are learning the craft of hospitality but the staff are well supervised by there teachers so if u have problems let them know … the setup is beautiful. .. the presentation of the food is awesome … and the price is just right for a 3 course menu as my wife and I go to the dinner time.. great place to go for special occasions …… the only negative not open on Fridays and weekends
