Chinese food court operator, I had to pop in to work on a Sunday so dropped by for a bite to eat after an basketball session. With the Pakuranga mall being surprisingly busy, the food court was absolutely bustling. I ordered there Duck Noodle Soup and for 12$ its probably the best value for money. You get 5-6 pieces of ducks and although some pieces were rather fatty, there was plenty of meat. I think it took like 3-4 minutes for my meal to come out which was awesome. The broth wasnt too bad for a food court operation.Showstopper: $12 Duck Noodle Soup .Overall Grade: B+
I’ve hated this place for years but my bud Hills of Pakuranga League fame eats here regularly. He’s a Won Ton Noodle Soup fan. I took a page from his book and decided to give it another try. Wifey likes Hills Won Ton choice and I sampled the plate of 3 choices, brisket with veggies with plain rice. Everyone knows how long it takes to cook brisket and these guys here are damn good at cooking it. Nice long slow cook and not over salted. It’s worth just to come for his brisket to take home and cook your own rice and veggies. They are quite good at a lot of their wares, even there fish and chips are pretty good too. The bloke here can cook. Suggest eating Tappa’s or shared plate style here on late nite Thursday. Lovely couple here
Great place to get your Chinese food cravings satisfied. A good change from the usual fast food joints in the food court. Great selection and all their cooked meals are tasty and fresh. Served with a smile too :). Will be back.
if there’s one thing you need to try, its the Wonton soup! YUMM! Its so good, its so nice to eat on a rainy day. The sweet and sour pork and beef brisket is also really nice!
Been coming to this take out joint ever since I was little with my family. The Yung Chow Fried Rice is the best, would highly recommend coming here if you love fried rice!
Twice i’ve eaten here and twice i’ve been sick. The food looks and tastes old. Hygiene is definitely questionable. Definitely would not recommend.
Not really a big fan of the food here but I’m definitely a fan of the pork buns! They are seriously delicious when obtained fresh. I usually grab one on the go because I think they are that yummy.
