A shop dedicated to popcorn, now that’s something you don’t see everyday. I remember getting a bag ofthe Honey Glazed Cashew and the Caramel Peanut, I wanted to try all the flavours but had to keep to the budget. And the flavours definitely stay true to their word.Service was great, the person who served me was helpful in giving me an insight of what the flavours tasted like, which got me to buy those two flavours.Looking from the outside, I thought it was a casual dining restaurant. Just as I entered, it had that dairy/bakery/cafe feeling. It’s probably the layout, I don’t know all I know is that they sell some pretty flavourful popcorn.
A fabulous place for popcorn lovers! Its such a novel idea, and reminds of the various flavours of popcorn you normally get in cinemas in India, but even better!I would recommend the mocha and the peri-peri popcorn! Its worth going to Panmure, just to get some popcorn from Amaize! They have started selling at Munchy Mart at the AU in the city too!
My obsession with popcorn has now gone to a new epic level. I love this place. A whole range of different popcorn flavours and all reasonably priced. When they opened, I swear I lived off their popcorn for a week!
Yayurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… this shope is meannnnnnnnn… best popcorn ever… never buying popcorn anywhere anymore… even my partner is hooked. Top notched
This place deserves a shout out! I can’t believe no one has thought of this idea before…flavoured popcorn! Amaize (love the play on words) is a little store set up in Panmure full of over 12 flavours of sweet popcorn and 3 flavours of savoury popcorn. The owners are a delight to chat with and there are generous samples available on request. Prices start at $4 for a 150g bag which is pretty good value for money. They also have plastic containers that you can fill and mix-and-match various flavours. My favourite flavours include cookies and cream (with real Oreo bits), choc drizzle and salted caramel. Definitely give this place a visit if you’re out east, or even consider making a trip out to Panmure…it’s that good! Fun to share and sure to impress your friends, I highly recommend this place.
In the middle of Queens Road is this little gem. If gourmet popcorn sounds like your sort of thing, you need to make a trip out to Panmure! This place specialises in different flavours of popcorn such as peri peri, chilli and lime, toffee almond, maple walnut, mocha, peanut butter, rocky road and cookies and cream. They also sell fresh corn by the cupful, served with toppings of your choice.I have only tried a few flavours but have really enjoyed them all. At the moment my particular favourite is the churro flavoured popcorn. I will definitely be back! riceandkai.wordpress.com
