The sourdough and rye bread is very crusty and has good flavour, I bought a Berliner jam doughnut which was tasty but a tad dry without a bit of cream inside! Not a huge range of pastries and cakes, but a very nice European style bakery

This bakery is a consistent performer . We have placed large orders in advance with Sylvia on 3 occasions for family functions and she has delivered quality products on time every time. Her rolls remain fresh for several days and always draw compliments. All her products have an air of authenticity. Haven’t tasted her coffee yet but it always smells good.Great to have a business like this in the neighbourhood.
Yeah you pretty much know what I bought from this bakery/caf (two words, starts with ‘H’, ends with ‘E’. Nice and sweet along with the marshmallows, decided not to refuse it whichI rarely do. I must say some great drink from a great area. The service was great, really kind and friendly managed to engage in a conversation through the waiting time was a definite plus.Looking from the outside, you can basically see everything inside. Like it’s entirely all glass with no design. Going inside it has that expensive feel, like you’re in an upper class caf. Can easily tell by the layout and the display of their food.
Great takeaway coffee, vege pizza full of fresh vege toppings, delish treesticks, pretzels and blueberry frangipane tart! Highly recommended
A hidden gem! My partner and I are both from Germany, andthe one thing we truly missed during our 7-year stay in Auckland was authentic Europeanbread and pastries. There is a very nice German bakery in the North Shore, but withvery limited opening hours. But now we finally found this place, and it is very, very good. The sourdough bread we bought was fresh and delicious with a crispycrust and a great texture just perfect! It was even better than the breadfrom my favourite bakery back home! We also bought an almond slice that was veryyummy. We will definitely go back.
I’ve tried a few places here in New Zealand and of those, this bakery definitely makes the best German pretzels by a long way. They taste just right!
