This was always a nice place to get dinner if you needed something cheap and fast. Very very kind staff who are always friendly, and high quality hot chips fritters hot dogs and fish etc
This place is so good. Will always come here and to Keri takeaways now. Been going to that Grumpy’s Seafood place and it is terrible. Soggy everything, or stale, overcooked messes.Their crumbed fish is divine, the customer service is always brought to you with a lovely smile and the pricing is very good. So glad that there is at least 2 good takeaways in Papakura to go with that mess they call Grumpy’s Seafood.
Have purchased from here. I would not say the best. I have had better. They cook in Lard still. They do not cook at right temp so chips are soggy. At least they do crumb the fish.I have eaten from bluff to top of North Island so do know good fish and chips. Recommend they pre cook chips so they crisp better and drain off the fat better before wrapping.
Wow…the best fish n chips in Auckland.Had crumbed fish..perfectly cooked, fat and flaky.Chips cooked in good quality clean oil….and the best potatoe fritters i have ever had.So glad to be have this place down the road!!!
This is my local.Great food, and easy to deal with.Great range of choices, and packs for those with kids and when feeding a crowd.Great value for the family.They are a friendly bunch, and always make it super easy to order and pick up your meal.Their chicken burgers are the best!!!
Excellent Fish & Chips, best I’ve had so far in South Auckland (have been here 6 years). Good burgers too, although I have another place I prefer for Chinese. Great value for money, $20 for hungry family of 4. We always phone orders through and they’ve never made a mistake. Really friendly, efficient service. We’ve used them at least once a month for the past several years, always awesome.
My local takeaways… Love it! Brilliant hot chips, great toasted sandwiches and great friendly service with a smile. Does suck that they are only open 6 days a week but agree with above that everyone needs a day off.
