The couple here seemed really miserable when serving us at this place, no smiles. I got a med pork meal. The meat was dry, potatoes soggy. Kumara, pumpkin and veges hard…and the gravy was slimy, kinda sticky. Meat and veges also needed seasoning. Dont buy a roast from here folks, quality and service here was poor. Kiwi roasts at southgate shops much nicer !
Horrible customer service experience. I bought chicken nibbles and I was given chicken wings because (and I quote what the asian lady told me) I gave you the wings because otherwise they will be thrown out I insisted on chicken nibbles but she refused to give them (even tho I had paid for them). So she gave me my money back with an attitude as she said to me I cannot please everyone. Here is the thing: you have a business to please YOUR customers regardless of ethnicity or age or gender. Furthermore it is none of my business that the chicken wings will be thrown out. This place sells really good food but I will not go back due to lack of customer service.Also it is really good to see that they allow their son to run around the kitchen and the whole place in his school uniform during service time. Definitely will not recommend this place.

Opened it when I got home and everything was soggy(Patotoes etc). The amount of veggies we got didn’t even go across 3 people and they were hard as ice. Sad I was looking forward to a nice roast. Won’t be coming here again. Hence the rating. And it was expensive.
Awesome service. I am a local and there are many options to choose from. They are a pleasant couple. Been there at least 10 times because it’s good. Also very good prices. $20 could feed 2 people.
Owners/staff are really friendly. Typical roast meals/ food, really yummy chicken nibbles. Don’t leave it too late in the evening though as they tend to have run out of pork or lamb, it’s happened to me at least twice.
has wrong phone number on here!! tryed ringing so many times but the person that kept answering said it wasnt roast house! things like this should be fixed!!
