Ordered by phone for takeout. I work in Papakura and live in Manurewa ,picked up order drove home only to find order was half filled.Ordered Pad Thai and a curry dish when home found curry dish was there plus rice plus extra rice but no Pad Thai. Why there was extra rice i have no idea as pad thai is noodle based.Rang them back they basically were not interested, wanted me to drive back and pick up not worth it to far to drive , no apology women hung up on me when i suggested they send it to me as there muck up.Lost me as a customer and the curry was real basic nothing to rave about.
Have eaten here before and really enjoyed it. Tonight has meant we will not come back. I placed a phone order and was told it would take half an hour which is a reasonable takeaway wait as it is. One hour later and the order has just left. No offer of apology or discount. Understand if you are busy but perhaps be more honest about wait time in the future.
Went here for lunch, the food was great and great value for money. The stir fried chicken cashew nut for the mains n the pork toast for the entree tasted great.
We enjoyed takeaways from here last night. A chicken green curry, pad Thai and fish cakes. They were very quick, good amount of vege with the curry and still nice and hot when I got home. My only comment would be that the packaging was really not very environmentally friendly – polystyrene containers and a plastic bag to carry. Food was great.
We came here on a Friday evening at 6pm. Street parking wasnt an issue. I had reserved a table but probably didnt need to as we were the only dine in customers for most of the evening. However the restaurant is popular with local takeaway diners.We ordered the Banquet B option for 4 adults at $39 per head. This included Tom yum soup, a mixed entree, & a dessert for each adult plus 4 main dishes to be shared (including rice). The dessert was deep fried banana with ice cream. All the dishes were fine although the 2 wok stir fry dishes were a tad bland. All dishes were very mild and we werent asked how spicy we wanted each dish. There was sufficient food for all diners and overall the banquet was good value. The service was fine also. The restaurant was nicely decorated and provided a nice ambiance.
We haven’t been here in a long time as the food had been really boring and lacked flavour. We decided to try it again because we have a voucher. So I made a takeaway order. It does not sat on the voucher that it is dine-in only so we were not able to use it. However, the food surprised us as it was much better than I remember. The satay chicken and Tom yung goong soup were both really nice and the matsaman curry had nice flavour too. So we will probably come and dine in to use our voucher 🙂
Great place for takeaways, awesome flavour, always fresh and lovely staff. We eat Thai regularly and this place is delicious every time. Highly recommend!
