I phoned and ordered from the takeaway menu. The food tasted really good and was great value for money. The restaurant was fairly busy for dine in and takeaways on Saturday. The entree PoPia Goong consisted of 5 crispy spring rolls with shrimp inside. I also had a stir fry dish called Pad Kaprow, which is a mild dish and included rice.
Went to this restaurant after church in Papakura. Overall we thought the flavour was nice. Good soup and steam fish flavour was interesting in a good way. Selection entree has good flavour and texture, chicken satay cooked to perfection. Could be better if fish less overcooked and we got the right soup ordered (a bit miscommunication when ordering the menu lead us to get tom kha gai instead of tom yum gai, which I was a little unhappy but the flavour was great). The waiting time we thought was quite long, yes it was Saturday evening and restaurant quite busy with dine in as well as takeaway people. But we wait arond 30 mins plus to get our fish and soup ready. I really want to give the wild orchid 3.5 as they are not 3 but not quite 4. Unfortunately I cant choose 3.5 anymore. Price is great compared to other thai restaurant. We probably will be back to try other dishes.
