Love the food but the staff can do with a little improvement in their customer service. On the phone orders, never greeted with a hello, so I don’t know if someone picked up the phone or if I have the correct place. I apologise if they are tired, but I’ve been there different hours of the day and it’s the same story.I always order mixed meal on rice, the sauce is always amazing! First impression of the salad was not much, but it compliments the meat and rice really good! If you’re not into raw red onions, the salad would not be for you. Best to order over the phone because wait times are usually lengthy!
I was looking for a late night Christmas meal since i hadn’t eaten anything the whole day and nothing was open right now except for this place so i decided to try it and man ill tell you straight up…this place, by far has the worse fried chicken of all time. I challenge you to find worse…seriously i am filled with so much regrets right now The pictures actually make it look much better then it actually is. The chicken is rubbish and it doesn’t help that it is precooked and left to dehydrate till it looks sad and taste even sadder. If i knew earlier, i would have aborted. On a good note their chips were actually quite nice They taste like Lil Abners chips except lil abners have amazing chicken salt so they’re better Not too sure if ill come back here when Lil Abners is just 30seconds down the road.I wonder if anyone is even reading this far but ill stop my rambling and go to bed, gotta do my boxing day shopping tomorrow!
Why does this place make me think of wasted Friday nights? lmaooo. Their sauce is E4. Makes everything taste better. Must try if youre thinking of going here.
Love the trading hours! The food is pretty well priced and the chips are delicious. My partner and I were able to get a late night feed just after landing from aus at 2am. Genius.

I love this place. The staff. The food. The chips. The burgers. The steak rolls. The seating. My favorite takeaway in papatoetoe. If you want good cheeseburgers this place is the go to. Late-night chicken on rice beautiful.
Best kebabs and seafood salad ever!! 🙂 awesome prices, friendly service & staff are super cool 🙂 highly recommend if your needing a good feed after a night out and wanting quality food for good prices!
