Terrible. Went here for lunch, ordered a 2 combination meat with rice and 3 combination meat with rice. They got our order wrong, asked for BBQ pork for one of the dishes, gave us Roast Pork (which was full of fat) instead. This dish usually has vegetables as well, one of the dishes were missing these. The other plate was Roast Duck and BBQ Pork, however 2/3 of the meat was BBQ Pork, disappointing. They used to be good, now they’ve gone downhill. I would like an explanation for this.

Approachable, smiling staff that were swift in preparing my order.I ordered 2 dishes ;The chilli-chicken and BBQ pork to have with rice I made at home. The chilli-chicken has a nice spicy sauce, though the chicken pieces are scarce and the dish is mostly packed with broccoli and cauliflower.The BBQ pork also had small portion sized pork strips, there was little to no flavour in this dish which was mostly comprised of onion in watery sauce.The meal was little bit pricey, what they lack in quality they try to make up for in quantity of things other than meat, but who wants leftovers of average food ? Not me.
The staff are friendly and the portion size was decent. Cooking was quick.I purchased a family-size Lemon Chicken dish to go with rice I had prepared at home. There was very little ‘lemon’ sauce to cover the otherwise dry battered chicken. From the first mouthful there was no flavour to compel one to want to take a second. By the end of the meal my plate was wreathed with fibrous mounds of chicken gristle as every second or third piece contained inedible portions.
THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT AND TAKEAWAY IN SOUTH AUCKLAND! Amazing food, very good service. I recommend the Fiji Style menu and it’s a good place for private functions.
